As a Medicine Woman I use the knowledge of our native
wise ones to create organic herbal tinctures that the
support mind, body and soul. Tinctures, or liquid
extracts, are an effective and convenient way to take
herbs medicinally. They are easily absorbed and
utilized by our body. All the properties of the herbs
are made available including the resins and oils. Your
body benefits from the entire plant.
Tinctures are ready to take as is, either under your
tongue or added to a little water, tea or juice. They
are in a diluted alcohol base. I feel that alcohol works
much better than glycerin in drawing out the
properties of the herbs. The amount of alcohol
comsumed is negligible.
All remedies are brewed in-house in small batches to
ensure freshness. I use only organic herbs. As long as
they are kept in a cool, dark place they can be used
indefinitely. They remain potent for years and years!
